Kurt was in town recently for a wedding with his girlfriend and had contacted Randy Blue(RB) before hand to see if RB would like to photograph him. The day of the shoot Kurt showed up late and a little frustrated. That’s what happens on the free ways of LA, You never know where or what time you will end up. Randy told Kurt to hang out for a bit and relax because he was flustered and also because he wanted to chat with Kurt and get to know him better. A lot of times it makes Randy’s work easier for all involved if they just make some small talk and chill.
Kurt was not much of a talker but after a while he relaxed and started to grin and laugh a bit. When the shoot started Kurt was really into it. Randy had left up the basement paneling from his shoot with Kody last week and decided he’d really like the look of it. It feels dirty, and very amateurish! Randy says that it makes him feel like a dirty old man in a basement with a polaroid camera and a stack of $20’s!
