Please let me speak from experience. I have done several video’s, about 5 years back, for a major porn studio in San Francisco. There was no check, no questions asked. However, you were instructed you would use condoms or you would not be filmed or paid. That studio has since changed hands but it appears the don’t ask don’t tell policy is still in effect along with no condom, no film, no pay.

And quite right too. As long as you use condoms and take all necessary precautions, being +ve or -ve shouldn’t affect whether you can be a good performer. Exactly the same as in real life – assume everyone’s +ve and take the necessary precautions.

HIV tests are useless in this case because they only tell you the result at that very second the test was taken. How much more unsafe sex could the person have had between then and the moment of filming? Plenty.

Well I can only speak for myself. I’m 22 right now and I’ve only gone bareback with my bf after we were both tested. That was a 3 year relationship were we were monagomous.
