And finally, don’t get me started on this proliferation of “barebacking” or “raw” films. Most gay men of my generation were wiped out due to unsafe sex practices, and to see them coming back into fashion just makes me want to throw a brick at my computer monitor. Hey, why not take it a step further and shoot up some heroin at the start of a scene – this way you can double your chances at an untimely death.

Oh, and one last thing – a lot of us like to see chest hair. And pubic hair.
