Alonzo was born in southern California, but he’s all Brazilian!
“My parents moved here before I was born,” he explained. “They arrived in 1980, I think, and then I was born a few years later.”
He’s never been to Brazil, but would love to visit.
“My family is from Sao Paulo,” he said. “I would love to see it.”
“It’s an enormous city, you know,” I told him (I’ve been there twice).
“Yes, I know!”
Alonzo has a girlfriend, and he is bartending for a living.
“I’ve been working at it for about two years now,” he said. “That’s how I met my girlfriend.”
“Do other girls hit on you?”
“Sometimes.”
“Does that make your girlfriend jealous?”
“No,” he said. “She’s pretty damn confident!”
