@porndog: I’ve never understood the gay-fascination with “straight” men (or worse yet, DL or hyper-masculine types) who won’t reciprocate sexually (I’m not saying every encounter has to be completely reciprocal in every aspect, but my sexual partner, at the very least, must be physically – and ideally, emotionally – invested in providing for my satisfaction too or it’s a non-starter). He ain’t gotta love or even necessarily like me, but he damn well better love or like what he’s doing with and to me.

IMO it’s harder to control simply because gays are often shamed, bullied or indoctrinated into feeling that it is in their best interests to suppress their homosexual desires (whereas heterosexuality has the imprimatur of societal approval and is therefore allowed unconstrained expression).

But the caged beast roars loudest. Or as Ennis would probably put it, “That bronc knows its nature and is almost sure to buck under the reins.”
