It’s especially wrong-headed to call a pro-condom person a “Nazi” because their justification for their strong opinion is that they’re preserving life. In fact-preserving gay life. Something which the actual Nazis were decidedly against.
I do sympathize with the porn producers who are putting out Bare back porn. Apparently the gay community won’t support pro-safe videos. George Duroy said he had a 30% increase in business the moment he started taking the condoms off.
As long as safe organizations are experiencing losses like that they cannot compete. So i do think that the pro-condom people are screaming at the winds.
But to call them Nazis is just plain ignorant.

I have argued for condom use many times years ago. But as i explained in the previous post, i believe that at this point I’m shouting at the tides. That as long as gay men are prepared to support Bareback in such greater numbers than condom scenes pro-condom people are shouting at the tides.
So yeah, I’ve stopped arguing about it because 1. there does reach a certain point where if you keep going at it you’re just silly and 2. What’s the point? My post would just be deleted anyway and I’d get D’ and GD pissed and accomplish nothing. I’ve lost the war, what’s the point in going on with the battle?
But the anti-condom people have largely won and they’re STILL not happy with that. They also want the pro-condom people to not register their opinions at all, because it makes them uncomfortable. That’s the whole point of the Condom Nazi epithet isn’t it? To silence their opinions? To let them know that stating the fact that testing is no substitute for condoms is “killing” their precious mood and cannot be countenanced.
And I am certainly one of those callous Americans. I watch now and even enjoy BB scenes. I don’t give a rats ass about the safety anymore either. So I am definitely not exempted from the “revolting” category.
But that doesn’t mean that I approve of the people who are still “Yelling at the tides” to be called names either. If they still want to fight the battle and have the energy for it they should at least be allowed to do so without being compared to Nazis. If you want civility, you’ve got to give it.
