Dawson: look, he’s not aging well in the face. There are a lot of older guys in porn who still have it, but Dawson is not one. I’ve always found him irritating but at least he was attractive enough to just fast forward through his talking. As far as his involvement behind the scenes, I don’t get it. If true, it’s nepotism at its finest. If they are hiring people to run this company who are unskilled former models, it is clear why it’s going to crap.

The site needs a major reboot:

1) Kill Corbin Fisher Select and actually reward your subscribers with quality weekly updates and don’t take them for granted, which I feel like I have been for well over a year.

2) Drop the “family” behind the scenes crap. Your model/VP lives with you? You give benefits? Including college tuition reimburment? Come on. It’s like they’ve created a union for porn stars; they shouldn’t stick around long enough to be afforded those benefits.

3) Re-boot your cast. There are 4-5 guys I would keep around (Connor, Harper, Kent, Aidain (maybe)…a few newbies Cort, Avery). Then pull a Sean Cody and get some heavy hitters.

I could go on…I wonder if any of these guys have contracts and now Corbin Fisher is stuck with them? I also wonder if they’ve just gotten a poor reputation in the industry that’s making it difficult for them to recruit guys. When you listen to the Corbin Fisher Radio Show, they often come off as condecending about other sites, former models who’ve switched sites and generally cliquey. Sigh.

Good point CA. I was surprised that they went to $7.95 for the Corbin Fisher Select scenes, but evidently there must have been quite a bit of backlash for them to lower the price to the still overpriced $6.95 and increased the discount to subscribers of the other Corbin Fisher websites.

I still think he is out of touch. Hopefully he will get it figured out because it really used to be a great website, but I suspect they know that they are going downhill since they won’t even put the CFSelect updates out on the blogs. I can say that of the ones I’ve purchased only 50% were good.
