I read an article a long time ago about how carefullly crafted Jeff Stryker’s career and image were. He wasn’t just born a porn icon. He was a guy with a big dick that a creative director magnified into a star.

I think now is the time to drop the tea I referred to in the other post.

I recently caught up with a friend from the adult industry a few days ago. He showed me some on his phone that had multiple N-D-S models having sex with trans women. Here’s the kicker, some were in hotel rooms, so that’s nothing new. I’ve seen photos of other models with clients while escorting, etc, nothing much to think about.

HOWEVER- some were done in a studio setting; Lights, photographers, etc. A little unknown fact about the industry is that there are many tester scenes. Filler scenes for models to get their bearings, etc. I heard that about 10% of all things filmed never get released. What I took away from out conversation is that multiple studios are testing trans scenes with male models that have exclusively filmed gay scenes (I.E never filmed for kink, etc). Imagine N-D-S exclusives filming trans scenes? How does that all sound to you folks? I’m doing more investigation on this and will update with more info I find out. This is a high risk move on studios’ end and I believe if the clientele is receptive, they/ll go forward with their idea.

I’d have to say no. I’ll passively watch a scene to satisfy my curiosity should I come across it, but its nothing I’m going to seek out or pay for.

Part of it is trans scenes are about as interesting to me as straight scenes. When it comes to transgender individuals I tend not to focus on their transition; these performers present as women in scenes (even though she has a dick) so I regard them as such.

Nonetheless, it is a good question. If NDS goes forward with this I’m sure someone will enjoy it.

There are a few performers like Christian/Max Diesel who switch between TS and straight porn, and that is seen as being okay. I’m bisexual and not one of those have-sex-with-guys-but-only-date-or-marry-women ones either. I’m totally sure I’m bi. I’m attracted to guys and still attracted to women. I came out to myself at 24 in 2008 but I realize that I’ve been attracted to men and women since early elementary school.

My mom has a brother and sister that are gay. She doesn’t have much dealings with them but it’s more because they’re messy as hell than their sexuality. My dad being a pastor is indeed a full-time job.

As for my friend (well, friends because two have come out to me), yeah, I don’t plan on ending my relationship with her because we’re in the same boat and we need each other more than I know to keep ourselves sane. They get paid only 20% more. Nica’s fight with Ty Roderick gave away all the secrets when she posted her texts to him. Icon was paying higher than most places with $1000 for gay and $1200 for trans. While other places were lower, trans still paid around 20% more. Which isnt much. Some models will just take any and everything thats thrown at them lol

Depends on studio and whether or not they benefit the most from their work being put up on tube sites, which they own (MG). Those type of studios tend to have a fuck-it mentality when it comes to driving subscriptions organically as people on tubesites will get frustrated at ads and follow a link for a 9.99-19.99 a months promo. That’s the only model I really have info on. Sites like CM, Icon and Gay Hoopla fight for subscriptions since that’s their main income.

I believe there is. MG has a stake in all genres, why wouldn’t they do this? N-D-S also has a dying straight site. I think the issue at hand is that smaller studios are pandering to audiences outside of gay men. It used to be where you wouldn’t see a gay site have a straight or bi sister site until recently. It asks the questions, can there ever be 100% gay spaces in porn? It seems a little strange to me. I think if they do, they’ll end up alienating a large part of their customer base they’ve pulled in after rebooting this last time. The polls I’ve seen have not been in its favor. That being said, I’m not exactly shocked they’re doing this considering their history and about 90% of the storylines they come up with.

Sean Cody released the occasional straight scene in the beginning, but quickly focus on solos and man-on-man action. I suppose the original site owner listened to his audience instead of duplicating content that could be found on other sites.

That is probably another area where gay porn is becoming weak. Studios are either branching out and attempting so many things they forget to do one thing consistently well. Or studios merge and eventually lose what made them distinctive.
