I can’t speak on why he wouldn’t want to talk to you. He did seem concerned when you left. It could be something as simple as not getting the replies from you. Every so often the notification button doesn’t always alerts you when someone responds to something you wrote. I’ve had people write comments to me that I didn’t get until I went on that specific page of the site.
