This was taken from the writeup of Buddy’s BTS vid. What even is this? I’m surprised they didn’t throw in a “He speaks so well!” for further emphasis. Everything from Sha’s “interview style sitdown” with Buddy (because of course we need one of the heads of the studio to give his Caucasian stamp of approval and literally petition for Buddy to have a chance before the members dig out their sheets and crosses) to Buddy playing into this garbage by listing all the ways he doesn’t fit the preconceived notions about Black models.
