This may be the only shoot that Bel Ami has ever done with a boy in full beard and then also freshly shaven. Consequently, this should please Ariel Vanean fans of both looks. Joan Crisol’s pictures quite often have a quite statuesque feel to them. That statuesque quality is certainly the case here when Ariel is posing on the terrace.
