I love Austin, he is an absolute legend, But leaving that scene up given the current state of Blake’s “reputation” is a huge mistake imo. Even if he never said a word about or acknowledged Blake’s position in the mess, it would have sent a needed message – and preserved a lot of respect for him.

I only saw the preview, and Blake had a “You are lucky to meet me” attitude, I might have overlooked it had none of the rest of that mess existed. Personally – and this is just me, if taking that scene down did not totally bankrupt me? It would have been dust. If for no other reason than it could have saved a lot of lost faith – which IMO is way more important.

Austin has a lot of clout in the gay community, maybe it is because I have such huge respect for him I just hold him to a higher level of accountability, guys look up to him whether he chooses to own that or not.
