Honestly, it just seemed like a less expensive/time consuming concept that they used on the straight side to cut costs. Less lighting equipment to continue moving around and less people were required to shoot this. I’ve always loved this after hours concept. So glad they did this again in gay scenes. However, I wish it was Max instead of Jack. I never really got intimate vibes from this pair. They’ve got some connection for sure, but it was never intimate like Malian or even Beau/Elian. Besides, it would’ve been a nice prequel to the first Malian scene if it was Max. The problem I have with the After Hours/Dark concept is it’s too bastardized from its original form. Remember Josh and Harper? That’s what I want. I actually loved all the camera mugging. It was sexy, and it felt like Elian eye-fucked me.
