Given all we’ve seen Vander do, I strongly doubt he has self-esteem issues tied to his weight. If he gets bigger it’s because he wants to. If he gets leaner it’s because he wants to. If he’s snorting poppers while jerking off, it’s because he wants to do that do. Nobody is shaming or forcing him to do anything.

I’ve been very vocal about the site’s quality falling over the last year or so. I see nothing indicating Vander felt pressured to lose weight to fit in. If you believe that is the case, you shouldn’t want him to do porn at all. And if you really want to know the answer, you could ask him directly. Other than that, I don’t know what else to say.

@disqus_6nRkGdeR7U:disqus I think both of you are making valid points, and the truth is somewhere in the middle. But I lean toward Scrap on this one. CM has had many looks over the years, and certainly did enter an era when they were the farm system for all of bareback porn (which meant washboard abs all around). I think most of this is based on how flush with cash the site is at any given moment, and/or how much pressure Bryan is actually under to grow the subscriber base. But you can certainly go through the archives and find guys who got a little plump and continued working. Clay was a memorable one. Isaiah got so puffy that I think something happened to him besides a few visits to Shake Shack. If anyone outside of niche sites like stockybears has grown the gay porn aesthetic, in more ways than just fat/lean, it’s been CM. I don’t think Broke Straight Boys would even exist without Chaosmen.
