I think they did one this year with Elian and Dane. I personally don’t like flips especially with Corbin Fisher ’cause their scenes are too short for that. I prefer seeing them divide it and make two different scenes like what they recently did with Kellan and Harris. It’s still technically a flip but you get two scenes instead of one.

Getting two scenes with the models changing position is nice too, but that’s not enough for me because it counts as two scenes instead of one. Given how quick Corbin Fisher wrap up one scene (I think someone mentined it took them around two hours for one scene?), they should have enough time to spice things up.

However, video duration doesn’t necessarily guarantee a good flip fuck. NDS often has a very unbalanced top/bottom portion whenever they do this. I’m still offended they had the nerve to call Spencer/Dante’s scene last year a “flip fuck.”

My thing with flips is they usually make you feel like you didn’t get to see them enough in their respective roles. And while a longer video doesn’t guarantee good flips like you said, a shorter video usually ends up not giving the models enough time to “marinate” in one of their roles. What happens is they either have unbalanced top/bottom portion like you said, or they rush into changing positions and roles just to fit the scene into a 20-minute video. And that’s the reason why I prefer that they just film two separate scenes so we can see both models in two different roles without feeling like we didn’t get enough top/bottom moments for the two models. It also depends on who the models are for me. If the guys have been paired at least twice (in two different roles), a flip would be a good option. But if it’s a new pairing, I usually dislike it. I think SC can potentially do flips better than most studios because they do their scenes in two parts.

That Spencer/Carter is disappointing, but I guess when Dalile is directing the expectation is already low. I get that. CF’s video durations are so short nowadays (although I think they have increased a number of videos more than 20 minutes. It’s not enough but it counts for something I guess) and that’s usually not ideal. I think few studios who still can reliably film good flip fuck despite the rumors behind them are CB and GISP. Clark and Taylor’s flip fuck is a good enough example despite it being Clark’s debut for CB and pretty much most scenes for GISP. As for SC, the rule of pairing you say applies. They sometimes don’t work because they have models who are terrible with one role having flip scene.

Oh, any scene with CM Vander flipping is also stellar.

Personally, I think 20 something minute video is a sufficient time for porn. Any scene that goes beyond 30 minutes tend to be a bit boring for me. However, if it’s a flip I’d rather it be 30 minutes or more. Yes, I think CB makes great flips. I don’t know how they do it but even if the scene is less than 30 minutes, their flips feel sufficient. Saw the Clark/Wess and it was really good. Can’t say much about GISP ’cause I rarely pay attention to them. Same with CM.

30-minute-or-more scenes tend to have too much foreplay. I’m down with good ones that show good energy between the performers, but making it long tend to take away some of my attention. Yeah, that Clark/Wess is good. Both of them really enjoyed what they were doing. You should at least check some of Vander’s scenes. He’s one of the best versatile performers in my opinion, although that may be my bias saying. As for GISP, they produce too little scene but majority of them are good.

I LOVE a good foreplay, both in porn and in real life. However, I don’t think it should be longer than the actual fucking. And that’s my problem with NDS. They spend so much time with the foreplay that it tends to get boring, especially when the pair doesn’t have good chemistry. That’s my problem with NDS too. Flips are good if done right. I don’t hate it, but I prefer seeing the guys do roles much longer, and flips don’t usually allow that. Worse is that the ratio of their roles isn’t always 50:50. Like that Dane/Elian flip for instance, Dane only bottomed in one position (Although for me, they should’ve had Dane top Elian all the way in that scene ’cause he’s already bottomed for Elian plenty times before that).
