Exactly. I’m not sure why people are getting this idea that if you’re disappointed with how SC is handling this it equates to you wanting models to be put into a dangerous situation. That’s an illogical correlation. Sean Cody has two couples (Josh&Brayden, Asher&Deacon) who are already filming their own content. They could’ve easily commissioned either or both of those couples to do a scene for the site, to help fill in a gap or two. Or they could do what other studios are doing, which is showcasing scenes from their sister/partner sites. Or they could do what other studios are doing, which is having models submit their own solos (since a lot of them have fan sites anyway) or duos (if they’re quarantined with a partner already). Or they could release any of the number vids they’ve kept hidden away. They have plenty of unreleased solos (I don’t think Austin Wilde’s solo ever got released), they have videos they’ve pulled (like that one model who lied and was working for Gay Hoopla), they have videos they’ve purposely shelved (like the alleged “cocaine fuck” with Kaleb and Murray). They could film new solos for new models under safer conditions, which would have the added benefit of not throwing models into a duo scene and you never hear from them again. They have plenty of options. Their solution was to drop down to one scene. That seems pretty unprofessional. Just like waiting to the eleventh hour to announce they weren’t doing an update, which I’m sure they knew at the beginning of the week (which is why they didn’t send a teaser like they normally do).

People have a right to take issue with this. Sean Cody has a history of half-assing it. They’ve put out scenes with glaring technical issues (bad audio, director’s audio, shoddy camera work, update doesn’t stream or download). They’ve missed updates. They’ve put updates up late. They tried to blur out a model’s confederate flag tat, then featured him in a scene the next week even with the controversy. They released a solo with a model who had already done a solo under a different name years before. They’ve hyped up returns and trips which have been pretty uneventful. Establishing goodwill with your customers base is how you ensure patience and loyalty when situations like this arise. It’s been a long time since Sean Cody worked on their goodwill.

There were the “fan favorites” back then, with a broader appeal, and the “others” with a more limited appeal, just as today, to the same degree. What was different was the consistency of great film quality and skillful direction, which has begun to improve for a year or so now, but can not always be counted on. Among today’s misses there have also been hits. If you read the comments from yesteryear; folks were bitching back then too. Tehehehehe! BTW…in case you do not know…Aiden still performs under the name TRYP BATES. I just happened to notice that a few weeks ago.

I’m sorry B, but I’m not sure “SC was leading the way in firsts” is a wholly accurate statement. in terms of felching, if the first time it happened at SC was with Blake, the earliest that could have occurred was July 2013, when he debuted. CF’s Blake was felched by Aiden, and while I don’t know exactly when that scene was shot, CF’s Blake disappeared right around the time SC’s Blake debuted, so Corbin Fisher probably featured it first. In terms of a guy putting his fingers in another guy’s ass and then in his mouth, I distinctly remember CF’s Brent doing that, which would put it sometime in the late 2000’s, before SC’s Jack debuted. In terms of ATM, CF’s Cort did that in either 2011 or 2012 (with Aiden), a year or two before SC’s Tanner debuted. Also, CF’s first bareback scene was in either late 2005 or early 2006 (Cody-Dawson) many years before that was industry commonplace.

When I stopped noticing/following/seeing Corbin Fisher videos, way back in the early “Dawson” days, I never saw anything beyond “vanilla” sex, other than eventually there was barebacking.
