This is such an odd choice for a pop-up/throwback, because while it features Tanner’s strengths, it doesn’t really play to David’s no matter how far and above the current crop his worst outing was. And the pop-up notes really help us to understand how SC has gotten to their lamentable state: they really have ZERO understanding of what we the viewer want to see. But at least I now grasp their regrettable over-reliance on pile-driving.

I take it they’re not always treating the Pop-Ups as a way to highlight both models in the scene. The Mountain Getaway one seemed more about the group scenes they used to do. David will probably get one of his other scenes highlighted in the near future.
