The thing with Daniel is that he’s usually mismatched with this scene partners. He’s told it himself in some pre-scene interviews, he needs a power differential to be in play as part of sex. So with most of his scene partners that don’t share that energy he can come across as too forceful, uncaring and even (not my words, I’ve seen people use these to describe him) rapey and abusive. A good observation. For Daniel to perform as he naturally wants to, which is aggressive and even frantic, he needs someone who can match that for there to be some sort of flow and compatible rhythm. BUT, in order to be a good performer Daniel could meet someone at least halfway who does not match his performance energies and accommodate himself to the other person. Daniel has always been one of my favourite Sean Cody models since he debuted, very glad to see him back. I was worried he was aging beyond their typical age range and wouldn’t be cast any more.
