I think it has a lot to do with the fact that porn is more about yearning and unfulfilled fantasies than maybe any other industry. This year, so far, CF has published 40 MM(gay) scenes. In those 40 scenes 18 different models participated:
Adam III, Adriano, Barron, Carter III, Chris III, Dane III, Dylan IV, Elian, Jared III, Kyler II, Liam IV, Marco III, Noah III, Richie, Riley II, Rocky, Roman II, Zander.

Not exactly 5-7 the same models.

But, to be ‘honest’, let’s compare to 2012: in the 40 first MM(gay) scenes published in 2012 double the number of different models participated.
And it’s also worth mentioning that those first 40 MM scenes in 2012 were published in a much shorter period than in 2022.

So yes, a lot has changed in 10 years, the whole porn landscape has changed drastically. It’s not only CF that is effected by this. It begs the question if a studio like CF can survive for long if they try to maintain their character. The first signs that they cannot are surfacing for some time now.
Yes, I am convinced it would be a great loss for the world of gay porn if CF would disappear or blended into the mediocracy of many of the other studios, but there are forces at work that are very hard to counter.

The likelihood that there is any unreleased content with those classic performers you mentioned is minuscule. CF always released what it shot. It may have held onto some scenes for a year or so to stagger the distribution of certain models who filmed a bunch of scenes in rapid succession, but that was pretty rare around 2010.
