I’m with Quietist in that they really should drop their efforts to be funny and clever because they are neither. But the list of reasons why I think this is harmless compared to what they could be doing is long. For one thing, they were known in their heyday for making genuine Halloween themed scenes that completely ruined the action. Halloween is sexy in real life. Someone once told me about a party they went to where this guy I was in school with dressed up as Farmer Bob. The guy looked like a young Alec Baldwin except more jacked and the costume consisted of a straw hat and overalls with nothing on underneath. And this was a straight guy! What does that have to do with this? The fact that Halloween themed porn almost never gets it right in the way Farmer Bob did. Their stuff is almost never sexy, and I think part of the problem is that unless it’s a bedroom reality type scene, porn is doing the Farmer Bob version of Halloween year round. There’s nowhere for them to go at Halloween but down by trying to be more ambitious with the costumes. To me, the smart thing is to do what they did here, which is to acknowledge Halloween in the title (and frankly this pun is not that bad).

2. I really despise the way the gay porn industry (and a lot of straight porn) has followed the insurance industry down this rabbit hole of trying to be funny. What the fuck do lizards and emus and Flo not recognizing Jon Hamm for being famous have to do with my car being involved in a collision? They have been obsessed with being funny for going on 20 years now, and I don’t even see how any of these ads connect people to what they want from an insurance company. I have already beaten the drum against MG ad nauseam, so I won’t say any more about that except don’t encourage CF to follow their disastrous lead.

Finally, about this scene, I have only seen the ending, but Rocky mostly gave me what I wanted. He pulled out a tiny bit early but it’s only a matter of seconds. I really think both of these guys are under appreciated in terms of looks. I said as much in my comments on Rocky’s last scene. And Riley‘s sexy hairy body and his cock, which is perpetually surprising me with how big it is, are for me 100 percent. If they can’t train him to CFF, this is a marvelous consolation prize. I’m not going to act like he doesn’t have some things he needs to work on as a performer — I was going to try to create a gif of him blowing Rocky to show off his body until I saw his technique and was like, “Um, no.” But I’m hopeful that he will grow. I feel myself growing every time I look at him.
