I get it, it’s just funny. And I get both sides of the argument. Heterosexuality is already omnipresent. so it’s a little annoying to watch prolific bareback bottoms fucking women. But I watch straight porn all the time because it’s way less limited than gay porn.

The irony of straight porn has always been that because the men are secondary, you get a profoundly broader, more diverse version of male beauty. I LOVE older men. I love chubby men with huge dicks. I love ripped guys with average dicks. I love when you look at a guy fully clothed and think, “Huh? You’re a porn star?” And then they take their clothes off and you say, “Okay, now I get it.” Their dick does not have t be the reason. In fact, I somewhat take respectful issue with Brandon85 … I’ve seen straight porn with a range of dick sizes, and big endowments are not that important to me. I think it’s fairer to say that you rarely wonder about a straight man how they got their job. To me, the thing we love about Ben Dover, Tom from CF, Bay from CM, Dante Martin … that kind of performance is more common among straight tops, who are there to do one thing and do it well. And when they are as good as, say, Peter or David or Josh from Sean Cody, there’s rarely that “he did five scenes and then disappeared” bullshit. They do 30 or 40 scenes or become the faces of their own brand and work for a decade.

It’s not that straight porn is never bad. (In fact with the truly amateur stuff like on xtube, I think it’s usually hideous compared to the gay stuff.) It’s that there is just so much demand that it is more abundant and better funded. And even though production might have been ghettoized to West Hollywood during the film era for both, I know of no time when all the men looked the same in straight films. But even though I loved the vintage days of gay porn, if we could bring back every actor who ever did a scene for Falcon, Catalina, Huge, Bijou, and Colt, and put them all in the same room, do you know how overwhelmingly similar they would all be? In the history of all of those companies combined, I wonder if we could even name double digit numbers of people of color? And Falcon alone has been operating for 40 years. They would only need one black performer per year to make what I said untrue, but they barely have one per decade in the years I was watching them.
