people will continue to belittle the importance of comments on here (or any blog or public forum) as having little to no significance… but in this age of social media public sentiment/image is of the utmost importance for any brand. Don’t kid yourself. I know for a fact there are certain posters on here (and elsewhere) that are PAID to keep that ‘OMG, Sean Cody is teh bestest porn site – none n it’s league!!’ sentiment alive. LOL The same goes for other sites as well. I mean QMN blog is basically paid to act as though every. single. MEN.com update is OMG, teh height of gay erotica!!!

actions have consequences. I don’t know why peeps continue to think we are commenting in a bubble. I mean Sean Cody gets 100+ comments on any given update, and suppose 2/3’s of ’em are negative/peeps going on about how they’re canceling their subscription… this goes on for MONTHS on end, and Sean Cody notices a significant drop in subs. Uploading Brandon updates, and hiring peeps to post how awesome Sean Cody remains does nothing to stop the bleeding like it has in the past… you don’t think Sean Cody would begin to start silencing the lambs? Really?

it is funny, tho, how peeps are acting like model-outing/stalking/harassing is brand new when it has ~literally~ been happening for years upon years, and these sites have been combating it in the ways they have been, again, for years. -___-

spurred by your comment I just now read that Ray Diaz + Connor Kline comment. Welp, that our comments on here have traveled from WB to other lands should tell peeps how quickly word/sentiment can SPREAD. And negative sentiment towards Sean Cody has never been at such a fever pitch, as far as I can recall. I mean has Sean Cody ever mandated blogs shut off comments on updates before? Interesting correlation, imo. ;-P
